Bolt on Rubber Track Pads

Bolt On Rubber Track Pads

Bolt-on rubber track pads are the most popular style for a reason. They are tough, durable, and sit snug thanks to the shoe adding extra strength and the bolts securing everything in place. Once fitted, they don’t budge, giving you a smooth, stable ride.

They’re also usually the most cost-effective option, but they do take a little longer to swap out compared to clip-on styles. Need a hand?

Call 1300 65 11 43, contact us, or use our Parts Finder to find the right excavator track pads for your machine.

At TKV, we’ve got Australia’s largest range of tracks and undercarriage parts. With warehouses in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Toowoomba, we’ve got rubber track pads ready. So when you need something fast, chances are we’ve got it ready to ship!

Clip on Rubber Track Pads

Clip On Rubber Track Pads

Clip-on rubber track pads are the go-to when your track shoes aren’t pre-drilled for bolt-on pads.

Each pad has a clip at either end that wraps around the shoe, holding everything securely in place. This setup creates a solid rubber buffer between your steel tracks and the ground, giving you all the benefits of a rubber-tracked machine without the need for a full swap-out.

Clip-on pads are designed to be the quickest and easiest style to fit and remove. They’re a great choice for short-term projects or when you only need rubber protection for certain jobs. With TuffPad clip-ons, you can ditch the hassle of laying down protective mats everywhere you go.

Whether you have CAT, Doosan, Hitachi, Hyundai, JCB, John Deere, Kobelco, Komatsu, Kubota, New Holland, Sumitomo, Takeuchi, Volvo, Yanmar, or any other type of steel tracked equipment, TKV will have the track pad to suit. Backed fully by our TKV Commitment.

Chain on Rubber Track Pads

Chain On Rubber Track Pads

Chain-on rubber track pads, also known as Roadliners, mount directly to the track chain, with no track shoe needed.

You’ll often find chain-on pads fitted to Komatsu and Hitachi mini excavators. They’re a great option when your machine spends most of its time on paved surfaces or in places where protecting the ground is critical, like rail work and other sensitive sites.

Because there’s no track shoe involved, chain-on pads aren’t ideal if you need to regularly remove and refit them for different projects. But if you’re after a strong, reliable pad for one surface type, they’re a smart, low-fuss solution.
